The City of Kodiak is bringing back this beloved community tradition with a family friendly display lighting up the waterfront on Thursday\, January 1 at 7:00 pm. \nOriginally planned for New Year’s Eve\, the show has been rescheduled to New Year’s Day to take advantage of improved weather and visibility. Fireworks will be visible from multiple locations along the City’s waterfront and from high points around town. \nSafety Notice: A 250 foot safety zone will be in place around the Oscar’s Spit area during the event.
