Celebrate Alaska’s growing seaweed scene at the 2nd Annual Kodiak Kelp Fest, a weeklong festival highlighting the people and businesses behind kelp and seaweed farming in the Kodiak Archipelago and across the state.

Enjoy a full schedule of fun, educational events for all ages—like community tidepooling, seaweed trivia, science night, a film fest, art vendors, and live music. Explore the NOAA Touch Tank, join the Kelp Potluck, and discover how kelp is shaping the future of sustainability and coastal living in Alaska.
