Kodiak 4th of July Weekend

Celebrate the Fourth of July in Kodiak with a full lineup of local events for all ages. From the annual 10K run and community parade to treasure hunts, golf, and bonfires, there are plenty of ways to come together and enjoy the holiday. Whether you are participating or cheering from the sidelines, we invite you to join your community and take part in the festivities.

10K Run and Walk

Registration opens at 8:45 AM near the Coast Guard base

Walkers start at 9 AM, runners at 10 AM

Ends downtown at the Marketplace

Free to participate, donations accepted for the Kodiak Cross Country team

Downtown Parade

Begins at 11 AM at Oscar’s Dock (the Spit)

Coast Guard flyover kicks off the event

Route: West Marine Way to Rezanof to Center to Mission and back to Marine
