Harbor Lights Festival & Boat Parade

Join the Kodiak Maritime Museum for an evening of festive harbor magic at the annual Harbor Lights Festival and Boat Parade, happening 5 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2025.

St. Paul Harbor and St. Herman Harbor will come alive with holiday sparkle as fishing, sport, and personal vessels shine with colorful lights. At 6 p.m., decorated boats will parade south through the Near Island Channel, creating a beautiful sight against Kodiak’s winter backdrop.

Visitors are invited to enjoy the lights at both harbors, then stop by the KANA Marketplace for a cozy community reception featuring free cookies, hot beverages, and live holiday music throughout the evening. It is a warm, welcoming way to experience Kodiak’s maritime spirit during the holidays.
