Emerald Isle Floats Treasure Hunt 4th of July Weekend

Get ready for one of Kodiak’s favorite summer traditions. The Emerald Isle Floats Treasure Hunt returns on Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4, giving residents and visitors the chance to discover beautiful hand blown glass floats hidden along Kodiak’s beaches.
Beginning at 10:00 AM each day, participants can search the shoreline from Buskin Beach to White Sands Beach, looking above the high tide line for specially placed glass floats. Each float is a unique treasure and a memorable keepsake from your Kodiak adventure.
This family friendly event is open to all ages and offers a fun way to celebrate the holiday weekend while exploring Kodiak’s stunning coastline.
