WELCOME. Nestled in the heart of the Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge, the Kodiak Brown Bear Center & Lodge offers an escape for nature lovers from across the globe.

Our group sizes are limited to eight people ensuring each guest experiences the best Alaska has to offer. After a day of bear viewing, hiking, kayaking or fishing, relax and join our team for a locally sourced, home cooked meal in our lodge and retire to one of our four private guest cabins. The Kodiak Brown Bear Center is owned by the Alutiiq people, who have inhabited Kodiak Island for over 7,000 years.
